LIfe Lessons With Dad

Like all dad I am going to make this sweet and simple for this week! So here is a brief look at lessons that my dad taught me that also my heavenly father has shown me over my life.

God Our Father

Creator (Genesis 1:1)

o   As a dad we can create the atmosphere of our home

Love (John 3:16)

o   No matter what we love those around us

 Justice/ Discipline

o   Our Father will invoke justice when needed

  §  David- Dead child

  §  Moses- Never saw the promise land

Wisdom

o   James 3:17

 ¹⁷ But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. (NIV)

Our ultimate goal is to do what our heavenly father has done and that is to leave an amazing legacy
